Dr Jalal to be the director for skims

Jammu, Mar 13 (UNI) Dr Jalal will be the new director of Sher-a- Kasmir Institute of Medical Sciences (Skims), Jammu.

The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad ,who is also Chairman of Governing Body of Skims has approved the name of Dr Jalal out of the panel of three doctors, recommended by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary of the state.

This was stated by the minister for youth services and sports Peerzada Mohammad Sayed on behalf of the Chief Miniter in reply to a question raised by Mian Altaf Ahmed in Legislative Assembly today.

When Mr Ahmed, Ali Mohammad Sagar and Dr Mehboob Baig raised supplementaries saying some appointments in the skims have been made without observing rules and merit, the speaker tara chand asked the government to look into the matter and take appropriate action.
