Hyderabad, Mar 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Unit of the Communist Party of India (CPI) today demanded Constitutional Amendment to involve Parliament in debate and decision making on all important international issues like nuclear deals.

Speaking to newspersons here, CPI National Secretary and MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said the Left parties were not against Americans but against globalisation policies of the US. ''The issue of recent nuclear deals between the US and India was raised by their MP Chandrappan in Parliament. But Prime Minister failed to give a satisfying reply'', he added.

He said US Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Washington were respected widely for their policies in those days.

Now the US President is trying hard to push globalisation policies to establish their hegemony in the World, he said. ''The US has fixed deals with India to inspect 60 per cent of Uranium centres in the country. Any international deal should not interfere with the internal matters of our country,'' he added.

Senior CPI leader said there should be provision to deal the important international issues in the Parliament.

He said the issue should be discussed in the Parliament and final decision should also be left it. There is an urgent nee for a Constitutional Amendment'', he added.
