Coop bank employee remanded

Kancheepuram, Mar 13 (UNI) A local court here today remanded the secretary of a primary agriculture cooperative bank to 15 days custody for defrauding the institution to the tune of over Rs two lakh.

Police said here the fraud came to light after an audit by the special officer of the bank. A complaint was preferred to the economic offences wing (EOW) in Chennai which arrested the accused.
