CM pays rich tributes to Burgula
Hyderabad, Mar 13: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy paid rich tributes to former Chief Minister of erstwhile Hyderabad state, late Burgula Ramakrishna Rao on the occasion of the latter's 107th birth anniversary.
In a message here yesterday, Dr Reddy recalled the services of Burgula in various fields of development especially for the benefit of the poor and the downtrodden in the society.
He said Mr Rao had also rendered yeomen service to Hyderabad state Congress from 1938 and later as President of Hyderabad social conference and Andhra Mahasabha.
The Chief minister said the invaluable contributions of the great leader would be remembered for long by the people of all walks of life in the state.
He said Mr Rao never compromised with values and principles in a long span of his public life.
