Bomb hoax in income tax office

Surat, Mar 13 (UNI) The six-storeyed income tax department building here was searched today following a bomb scare which turned out to be a hoax, police said.

A team of policemen, along with a sniffer dog, searched the building after the income tax office received an anonymous call saying bombs were planted at several places in the building.

However, it turned out to be a hoax, the police added.
