Body of world war II veteran lies unclaimed

Hardoi, UP, Mar 13 (UNI) Body of a World War II veteran has been lying unclaimed at the district hospital mortuary since Saturday.

Parmeshwar Deen Singh died around midnight on March 11.

However, none of his family members or acquiantances have so far turned up to claim his body.

Singh hailed from Majhgaon Gadaura under Atrauli area of the district.

The district authorities became active only after mediapersons enquired about the case and later informed Singh's family about his death.
