Hyderabad, Mar 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister K Rosaiah today said the government was concerned at the loss sustained by farmers due to untimely rains and hailstorm in some districts recently and was willing to have a debate in the State Assembly during the ongoing Budget Session.
The Minister was responding to concern expressed by TDP Member Ch Rajeswara Rao.
Soon after the House met for the day, Speaker K R Suresh Reddy announced he was disallowing adjournment motions given notices of by the TDP and Janata Party,TRS, CPI(M) and the BJP on various issues.
When members expressed concern about the loss to crops, the Minister proposed a debate on the issue within a day or two. He also said Minister M Satyanarayana Rao will have a meeting with the floor leaders of different parties on the GO 72 which, the Opposition said, was intended to nullify the impact of GO 610 which provided for repatriation of employees of other regions from the Telangana.
