Andhra Bank likely to achieve Rs 2400 cr by financial year
Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh Mar 13(UNI) Andhra Bank, Kakinada Zone is expected to achieve a total business of Rs 2400 crore by the financial year end, according to Rani Prakash, Assistant General manager, Kakinada.
Talking to newspersons here today Ms Prakash said the bank had Rs 1100 crore deposits and had extended loans to the tune of Rs 1010 crore.
She said the Zone had 94 branches and three extension counters.
She said the non-perfoming assets(NPAs) of the bank was to the tune of 1.61 per cent and it would be brought down to 1.31 by the end of financial year.
Ms Prakash said the bank had extended loans to self-help groups(SHGs) for Rs 120 crore.
The bank's ongoing 'Maha Mela' was focusing on deposit moblisation, retail lending and fee-based financial services, she added.
