AI flight makes emergency landing at Mumbai

Mumbai, Mar 13 (UNI) A Los Angeles-bound Air India aircraft had to make an emergency landing at Sahar international airport here this afternoon after one of its tyres burst while take-off.

An AI spokesman told UNI here that the flight AI-137 carrying 254 passengers and crew made an emergency landing here at 1330 hrs.

All passengers and crew were safe, the spokesman added.

The flight was on its way from New Delhi to Los Angeles via Frankfurt.
