5 killed, 8 injured in road accident

Rajkot, Mar 13 (UNI) Five persons were killed and eight others injured when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided today head-on with a truck near Hanumangadh village in Ranawav taluka of Porbandar district.

According to the police, the occupants of the ill-fated autorickshaw were going to Chamanshapir Dargah in Tarsai village from nearby village when the incident took place.

The injured have been admitted to the Bhavsinhji Hospital at Porbandar, the sources said.
