4,376 copycats caught so far in UP Board exams

Lucknow, Mar 13 (UNI) As many as 763 copycats were caught during Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board examination across the state today, taking the total number of examinees nabbed using unfair means in the intermediate and high school exams to 4,376 so far.

Education Department sources said here that a maximum of 175 copycats were held in the Agra division, while the least number of two students were caught using illegitimate means in Chitrakoot division.

Today's figure of 763 copycats included 616 boys and 147 girls, sources added.
