3 dacoits arrested

Morena, MP, Mar 13 (UNI) Three dacoits of the dreaded Charna Sikarwar gang, operating in the border areas of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, were arrested here today, police said.

City Superintendent of Police S S Chehal said on a tip off, police arrested Rambir Singh Sikarwar, Goura Singh and Mahendra from Devgarh-ki-Pulia area. One motor cycle and three pistols were recovered from their possession.

According to Mr Chehal, Goura Singh and Rambir Singh carried a reward of Rs 15,000 each. Rambir and Mahendra were said to be close relatives of gang leader Charna Sikarwar, he added.

The trio was involved in the abduction of former MP Radhacharan Sharma's son Dr Narayan Hari Sharma on February 2, he added.
