Youth shot dead in UP

Lucknow, Mar 12 (UNI) Police in strength have been deployed in the Nangal area of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh following the killing of a youth from the minority community this evening.

According to police, Riyaz was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Sonechirraiya village allegedly over a land dispute.

Keeping in mind possibility of a backlash from the minority community, police have been deployed in strength in the area.
