TRS chief must quit union cabinet: Demand

Hyderabad, Mar 12 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) senior leader and MLA M Satyanarayana Reddy today demanded that TRS President and union minister for Labour and Employment K Chandrasekhara Rao and TRS senior leader and union minister of state for Rural Development K Narendra must quit from their ministerial posts.

Mr Reddy alleged that the two had forgotten their responsiblity towards the movement for separate Telangana.

They were not mounting pressure on the UPA government, according to a release.

Pointing out that KCR and Narendra have promised to quit the ministerial posts in January, Mr Reddy charged that the TRS leaders and activists have lost confidence on the two leaders.

The movement was watered down since the two leaders were inducted into union cabinet.

He said the BJP has also expressed willingness to support the TRS sponsored Telangana movement if the two leaders quit the cabinet.
