Dharamshala, Mar 12 (UNI) Bajjreshwari and Jawalamukhi temples in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh among fifty-two other Shakti-peeths of Goddess Sati will have their own websites on the pattern of Tirupati Balaji, Kangra Deputy Commissioner Bharat Khera said.

Talking to reporters here, yesterday he said that the Town and Country Department has been asked to prepare a master plan for the beautification of these places of worship.

Mr Khera said a sum of Rs 19 lakh would be spent on the renouation of eight temples within the Bajjreshwari temple complex, adding that the sanctum sanctorum of the main temple would be reconstructed.

The walls of the main temple would be silver plated to give it an aesthetic look, he said.

He pointed out that in view of the coming Navratra, better facilities for the pilgrims need to be made in the temple complex and out side.

A meeting on improving facilities in the temple was held recently and was attended by officers of the different departments.

Mr Khera said all the Shakti Peeths in the district would be connected through the State Bank of India ATMs to help the pilgrims offer donations to these temple trusts safely and quickly.
