Technology of blood separation introduced in GMC Jammu

Jammu, Mar 12 (UNI) Latest blood separator technology has been introduced in the Blood Transfusion Department of Government Medical College Jammu, Transport Minister, Mangat Ram Sharma informed today.

After inaugurating blood donation camp at Government Medical College, he said world-class machinery and equipments had been provided to the hospital. The Department of Blood Transfusion also introduced a new technology, Blood Separator under which four components of the blood can be separated and given to different patients as per requirements.

On this occasion, Mr. Sharma announced the hospital would have four-sophisticated blood donor beds each casting over Rs. 1.20 lakh from his constituency development fund.
