Six police jawans abducted by naxalites

Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, Mar 12 (UNI) Naxalites today abducted six policemen from a bus at Chintalnar in this district, police said.

Superintendent of Police Praveer Das said security forces had been dispatched to track down the ultras and rescue the abducted police jawans.

The policemen were heading from to Chintalnar to Dornapal when the extremists forced the bus to halt and abducted the police personnel-- three of the Special Armed Force and three of the district police force--at gun-point.

Naxals Killed two villagers at Chikalguda village in this district last night for participating in anti-naxalite 'Salwa Judum' campaign. The deceased were yet to be identified.
