Sabharwal offers worship at Tirumala

Tirupati, Mar 12 (UNI) Chief Justice of India Y K Sabharwal today offered worship to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple.

Mr Justice Sabharwal, who arrived here by a special helicopter, was received at Padmavathi Guest House by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer, APVN Sarma.

He was extended temple honours by the priests.

Later, Mr Sarma presented 'prasadams', a portrait of Lord Venkateswara and spiritual books to the CJI who was accompanied by the Madras High Court Chief Justice Shaw, Chittoor District Collector S S Rawat and the District Superintendent of Police V V Gopalakrishna.
