Rain or snow likely in Uttaranchal, J

Pune, Mar 12 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Jharkhand, Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep.

Rain or snow have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Haryana, east Madhya Pradesh, Rayalseema and Lakshadweep.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Manipur and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya and were above normal in some parts of south Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

They were appreciably to markedly below normal in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Saurashtra, Kutch and north Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in coastal Orissa, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and interior Karnataka and were below normal in west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Chattisgarh and coastal Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably above normal in Manipur and were above normal in northwest Rajasthan and Saurashtra and in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

They were normal over the rest of the country.
