Meiraba Polo Club lifts Equestrian Assam Rifles Cup

Imphal, Mar 12 (UNI) The Meiraba Polo Club today won the third Assam Rifles Equestrian Cup organised by Manipur Equestrian Association and Manipur Range, Assam Rifles, here.

Assam Rifles Director General Lt. Gen Bhupinder Singh handed over the trophies to the show jumping and tent pegging winners.

He said Assam Rifles was promoting equestrian events in Manipur as there is every possibility of riders from Manipur winning gold medals in international events.

The Assam Rifles was prepared to support all sports movement in Manipur, he stated and assured all possible help. The tournamentstarted on March 10 and concluded today.
