Kochi ready for India-England ODI

Kochi, Mar 12 (UNI) The Jawharlal Nehru international stadium is getting ready to stage the fourth One-Day International match between India and England, to be held here on April six.

Inaugurating the organising committee office at the stadium today, Ernakulam District Collector and committee convener A P M Mohammed Haneesh offered full support from the state Kerala government and the district administration for smooth conduct of the match.

Kerala Cricket Association (KSCA) President S K Nair, who presided over the function, said Kerala has been allotted yet another international match in appreciation of its excellent organisational skill.

India notched up a comfortable 87-run win over Pakistan in the first ODI held here in April last year.
