Four US soldiers killed by blast in Afghanistan
KABUL, Mar 12 (Reuters) Four U.S. soldiers were killed today after a blast ripped through their armoured vehicle in Afghanistan, the U.S.
military said, the single biggest recent loss in a day for the American military.
The incident happened while the soldiers were on a patrol in the eastern province of Kunar, the military said in a statement.
''Four U S service members were killed in an improvised explosive device attack today,'' it said.
Today's attack brings to 10 the number of losses for U.S.
soldiers killed in Afghanistan this year.
