Deranged father kills son

Jamshedpur, Mar 12 (UNI) A father killed his ten-year old son with a sharp razor at Karketa village under Chaibasa police station area in West Singhbhum district yesterday, today said.

Police said the killer one Doko Gope, who is said to be mentally deranged, called his son Birsa Gope, who did not respond, which led the attack.

The boy tried to free himself from the clutches of his father but the the latter succeded in slitting the throat of the little boy, who died on the spot.

The infurated villagers caught the killer and tied him to a tree and informed the police. He was arrested and sent to the jail.
