Code of conduct for teachers in offing

Mirzapur, Mar 12 (UNI) On the lines of medical and bar councils, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh has decided to draft a code of conduct for its teachers.

The code would lay obligatory guidelines regarding the personal conduct and educational duties of teachers.

Sangh president and teachers' leader Om Prakash Sharma told UNI here today that the society looked upon teachers as ideal citizens and hence theneed for such a code.
