AGP declares second list

Guwahati, Mar 12 (UNI) The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) today released its second list 27 candidates for the forthcoming poll raising the tally to 45 so far.

The AGP has a seat sharing arrangement with CPI, CPM, ASDC and smaller tribal outfits. Earlier, it had announced 18 names and according to the party sources, they would contest in about 90 seats leaving others to their partners.

Most of the parties except the Congress have relased their first and second list The Congress have moved the selection process to New Delhi where the selection committee is pondering over the final list.

The BJP has already announced 60 names sparking off protests from cadre unhappy at the compositor.
