1 killed, 8 injured in road mishap

Hubli, Mar 12 (UNI) One person was killed and eight were injured when a Karnaaka State Road Transport Corporation bus collided with a truck near Amminbhavi in Dharwad district of Karnataka today.

Police said the bus was on its way to Chitradurga from Soundatti when the mishap occurred.

The injured, all passengers of the bus, were admitted to the district hospital at Dharwad.

The deceased was identified as the driver of the truck.
