Army jawan, who committed suicide, cremated without military honour

Jagadhari, Mar 11 (UNI) The body of Army jawan Vinod, who reportedly committed suicide, was handed over to the bereaved family here today amidst protest by the bereaved family that the deceased be declared a martyr.

Vinod, according to the Army records, had committed suicide in Kargil, the place of his posting.

The body was cremated by the family members without the military honour as the deceased, who committed suicide, was not declared a martyr.
