PWD Chief Engineer kidnapped

Guwahati, Mar 10 (UNI) A top PWD official of Asom Government was kidnapped in the early hours today by unidentified miscreants, sending shockwaves amongst the bureaucracy.

According to official source, PWD Chief Engineer (National Highway) Suren Das was abducted from his home early in the morning.

It is not yet clear who kidnapped him as no one had claimed responsibility for the act.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi had instructed the police authorities to locate Das imeediately.
