Notification issued for RS and State Council elections

Patna, Mar 10 (UNI) The process for biennial election to six Rajya Sabha seats and 11 seats of state legislative council in Bihar began today with the of notification being issued.

Acting secretary of the Bihar assembly cum Election officer Brajakishore Singh Prabhat said the last date for nomination for the biennial election of Rajya Sabha and State legislative council was March 17.

He said scrutiny of nomination papers would be done on March 18 while the last date of withrawal of the nomination papers was March 20. Voting would be held on March 29 if required.

No nomination paper was filed on the opening day today.
