Gitanjli Gems has a poor debut but KEC Intl shines

Mumbai, Mar 10 (UNI) Gitanjli Gems and KEC International made their debut on the Bombay and National Stock Exchanges (BSE/NSE) today.

Gitanjli Gems opened with gains at Rs 210 on NSE and at Rs 215 on the BSE against the issue price of Rs 195 for Rs 10 share.

The scrip touched a high of Rs 226 and a low of Rs 165 on the NSE.

It finally closed at Rs 165 losing by Rs 30 per share or 15 per cent. As many as 1.16 crore shares were traded on the NSE.

On the BSE Gitanjali touched a high of Rs 220 and a low of Rs 169.2 and closed at Rs 167.15. In total 87.13 lakh shares were traded.

Another scrip KEC International opened at Rs 425 per share on both BSE and NSE against the face value of Rs 10 per share.

It touched a high of Rs 490 on both BSE and NSE and a low of Rs 410.25 on BSE while its lowest on NSE was Rs 405.60. KEC finally closed at Rs 418.25 on NSE with 50.53 lakhs shares traded and at Rs 422.4 on BSE with 38.78 lakh shares traded.
