EC issues notification for RS polls in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Mar 10 (UNI) The Election Commission today released the election schedule for biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha for four seats.

As per the notification issued here, the candidates could submit their nominations at the State Assembly till March 17.

The nominations would be scrutinised on March 18 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 20. The elections, if necessary, will be held on March 28.
