Cong walkout over phone-tapping
Bhopal, Mar 10 (UNI) The main opposition Congress, along with the SP and BSP, staged a walkout in the Madhya Pradesh assembly today over alleged phone tapping of certain legislators.
Raising the matter during zero hour, Leader of the Opposition Jamuna Devi made certain remarks that were expunged by Speaker Ishwardas Rohani after Power Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya described them as objectionable.
''Every member's comments in this regard are expunged,'' announced Mr Rohani.
Ultimately, Ms Devi announced the walkout.
