Cong starts collecting applns from aspirants
Pondicherry, Mar 10 (UNI) The Congress here today began collecting applications from aspirants to contest the May three and eight Assembly elections.
The exercise will continue for the next five days. Agriculture Minister A Namasivayam was the first one to submit his application.
Applications on behalf of Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Industries Minister M Chandragasu were among the 29 applications filed at the PCC office here till 1200 hrs today.
The applications would be submitted to the party high command which would scrutinise them and select the candidates.
