Chargesheet filed against Rewa Karawal in cheating case

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Police today filed a chargesheet against Rewa Karawal, wife of ACP M L Karawal, in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kanwaljeet Arora in a case of cheating.

The chargesheet against the accused, made under Section 466, 420 and various other sections of Emigration and Passport Act.

Rewa had been arrested on January 12 for allegedly duping Harshad Kumar Mafatlal Patel of Rs 15 lakh on the pretext of sending him to the United States.

More than 18 cases are pending in various Delhi courts against the accused.
