Bhopal, Mar 10 (UNI) Two ruling BJP MLAs in the Madhya Pradesh assembly today served a notice of breach of privilege against Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi for certain comments before media on yesterday's incidents in the Assembly.

Meanwhile, Dr Sunilam (SP) also served a notice of breach of privilege against Transport Minister Himmat Kothari and Urban Administration and Development Minister Jayant Malaiya over yesterday's incident.

Mr Kailash Chawla and Mr Girijashankar Sharma (both BJP), who had given the notice, alleged that despite the fact that reconciliation took place in the assembly, Ms Devi made certain comments before media that came under the category of contempt of House.

As Mr Chawla sought to know the fate of the notice during zero hour today, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said he was seeking information in this regard.

The assembly witnessed bedlam as Congress and BJP members exchanged heated remarks over the issue but the Speaker expunged the remarks.

Ms Devi said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also made comments before media over yesterday's incident.

Dr Sunilam was assaulted in the Assembly and he, along with Congress members Satyadev Katare and Ramniwas Rawat suspended from the assembly yesterday after they exhibited a bunch of corn while seeking an immediate debate on the crop damage due to hailstorm. The suspension was later revoked by the speaker.
