BJP nominates Sushil Modi for Bihar Legislative Council

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) BJP today nominated Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi as its candidate for the biennal election to the Bihar Legislative Council.

Mr Modi, who is a sitting Lok Sabha MP, would have to get elected to either Bihar Assembly or Legislative Council within six months after becoming a Deputy Chief Minister. The party chose Mr Baleshwar Bharti for the second seat for the Bihar Council.
