Afridi replaces Razzaq in Irish team for C

London, Mar 10 (UNI) Ireland has signed Shahid Afridi as their second overseas player, following his Pakistani teammate Abdul Razzaq's last minute withdrawal, for the C&G Trophy beginning April 23 in Hampshire.

Afridi was signed in to replace Razzaq who pulled out to prepare for his side's series against England in June.

Earlier, Saqlain Mushtaq also signed for Ireland after being overlooked for quite sometime by Pakistani selectors. The off-spinner last played a Test match in 2003 against India.
