Venkaiah to be incharge of BJP's yatras

New Delhi, Mar 9 (UNI) The Ekta Yatra to be undertaken by Leader of Opposition L K Advani and BJP Chief Rajnath Singh to highlight the dangers of vote bank politics in the wake of Varanasi bomb blasts is likely to take place after the Holy festival which the leaders have vowed to boycott.

Sources said that the details of the yatra announced by Mr Advani himself were still being worked out as there were two opinions. The details will be finalised after former BJP President M Venkaiah Naidu will be here tomorrow to attend the Central Election Committee meeting which will select the party's nominees for Rajya Sabha bienniel elections.

Mr Naidu has been asked to be incharge of the twin yatra traversing the country apprising the countrymen on the dangers of appeasing the minorities. The party says it wants the country to stick to the slogan "Justice for all and appeasement for none", sources said.
