Two security personnel arrested after brawl

Baramulla, Mar 9 (UNI) Two security personnel today nearly opened fire on each other after they exchanged heated words over some matter in an inebriated condition, official sources said.

They said the two securitymen -- Devinder Singh and Sadhu Ram -- attached with the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations, Baramulla exchanged heated words over some matter when in an inebriated condition.

The sources said as the war of words continued, the two police personnel nearly opened fire on each other from their service weapons.

However, the two were overpowered by their colleagues and the weapons taken away from them.

The sources said the two were later taken into custody.
