Two college students swept away

Vijayawada, Mar 9 (UNI) Two college students were washed away in the gushing waters of Bandar canal in the city today.

Police sources told UNI that one of the students Varun (17) standing at the canal, slipped and fell into it. His classmate Vijay Kumar(18) who tried to rescue him, also met with the same fate.

Police launchecd a search operation to trace the bodies.
