Tulip roll-out largest MPLS Data Connectivity Network

Mumbai, Mar 9 (UNI) Tulip IT Services Ltd today announced the launch of its Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network- TULIP CONNECT-- across the country.

This data network, which covers over 350 Indian cities, has been set up with an investment of Rs 180 crore, a company notification to BSE said.

TULIP CONNECT will focus on providing data connectivity for banks, ATMS, connecting corporates with their branches, dealer and distribution networks across the country, stock-brokers, media companies and government agencies.

A number of leading corporates and banks have already signed-up to utilise the services of TULIP CONNECT. Some of the company's large customers include HDFC Bank, Bharti, NDPL, Tata Motors Finance, amongst many other.

The Company aims to expand the network to over 500 cities, by end of calendar year 2006.

The Company also announced plans to launch Level 3 Data Centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore to enable customers to host their servers and network equipment with ready availability and connectivity to all major service providers.
