Terrorist organisations deeply rooted in Hyderabad: BJP
Visakhapatnam, Mar 9 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh BJP president N Indrasena Reedy today accused the Congress government in the state of failing to check the growth of terrorist organistaions in the state, particularly in Hyderabad, where they have taken ''deep roots.'' Speaking to reporters here, he claimed thousands of Pakistani citizens, many of whom who had close relationships with terrorist organisations in that country, had been overstaying in the state despite expiry of their visas.
''The government had taken no step to send them back, but was indulging in vote bank politics by appeasing minorities, which was a dangerous trend. All these overstayers should be arrested immediately'', he demanded.
''Most of the terrorist attacks in the country, including the twin blasts in the holy city of Varanasi on Tuesday, the IISC attack in Bangalore, Delhi blasts and Hiren Pandya murder turn out to have thheir roots in Hyderabad. But the state government seem unconcerned even as the terrorist organisations, backed by ISI, are hatching heinous plans from the state capital,''he charged.
The BJP president came down heavily on the Congress-ally MIM in the state saying that the party was responsible for the violence that erupted in Hyderabad recently during the protests against the Danish newspaper cartoon.
He asked why the party which was so active in protesting against an episode happening far away country, kept mum when a temple was attacked in their own country.
