Tata Teleservices offloads 8 pc stake in favour of Sterling Infotec

Mumbai, Mar 9 (UNI) Tata Group company Tata Teleservices today offloaded another eight per cent equity in favour of Sterling Infotech, owned by C Sivasankaran, presumably for about Rs 1,200 crore.

When contacted, the Group spokesperson confirmed the deal but refused to provide any detals.

The deal was made just a day after selling equity of 9.9 per cent to Singapore-based Temasek Holding for a consideration of Rs 1,500 crore.
