Jalandhar, Mar 9 (UNI) Activists of the Lok Bhalai Party, Shiromani Akali Dal (Longowal), Shiromani Akali Dal (Ravinder) and Bahujan Samaj Morcha (BSM) today held a demonstration in protest against telecast of an ''anti-national'' talk show by a private TV news channel on Tuesday last.

The show featured Khalsa Raj Party president Dr Jagjit Singh Chohan and a few other radical Sikh leaders.

The demonstrators gathered in front of the district collectorate here, held a meeting and burnt an effigy of the concerned TV news channel.

They also sent a memorandum to President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam through the deputy commissioner, demanding an inquiry by Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) in the matter to expose people and motives behind the telecast of such a talk show.
