Precious metals south bound on weak global advice

Mumbai, Mar 9 (UNI) Silver and gold today suffered a setback on weak on weak global advice, traders at the bullion market said.

Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade: Rs 14,160 (14,215), Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 7,945 (7,975), Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 7,985 (8,015).
