Police rescued five tribal girls from traffickers in Bengal
Jalpaiguri, Mar 9 (UNI) Five tribal girls were rescued from cluthces of an inter-state woman trafficker gang in North Bengal, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police Tapas Das said following a tip off the sleuths raided a hideout at Washabari Tea estate under Malbazar police station in Jalpaiguri and arrested a tout Sarita Kahar and her two accomplices identified as Suresh Majhi and David Ekka yeterday. Their arrest led to detect five tribal girls.
Police said the accused had a plan to send the teenagers to New Delhi by Sikkim-Mahananda Link Express.
