Police personnel killed in mishap

Thrissur, Mar 9 (UNI) One police personnel was killed and another injured when the jeep in which they were travelling dashed against a lorry at Kulathoor on the National Highway near Kodakara today.

The deceased was identified as Girish (30) of Kavalapara.

The injured T M Gopi (46), an assistant commandant of KAP II battalion from Thiruvananthapuram, was admitted to the Jubilee Mission Medical College hospital here.

The jeep was proceeding to Thiruvanathapuram from Palakkad when the mishap occurred.
