Patna High Court grants bail to Sadhu Yadav

Patna, Mar 9 (UNI) Patna High Court today granted anticipatory bail to RJD MP Aniruddh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav in connection with the multi-crore rupees flood relief scam in Bihar.

After hearing arguments of both sides, a single bench of Justice Chandramauli Kumar Prasad granted bail to Mr Yadav.

The counsel of Mr Yadav contended that his client had been falsely implicated in the case. He said the charges were baseless.

According to the charges, a sum of Rs six lakh was transferred to Mr Yadav's account by an accused in the flood relief scam.
