No place for forest mafia in Haryana, says Minister

Chandigarh, Mar 9 (UNI) Haryana Forests Minister Kiran Choudhary today said there was no place for forest mafia in the state and such elements would be dealt with an iron hand.

She was addressing mediapersons at village Gandholi in Ambala district, about 58 kms from here, after laying the foundation stone of sub-surface dam.

For the protection of forests, the duties and responsibilities of the gram panchayats and forests samities would be identified Mr Choudhary added.
