NEOX in JV with Hoggan for health products

Chennai, Mar 9 (UNI) City-based NEOX Fitness, a fitness solution company, has entered into a joint venture with US-based Hoggan Health to sell the latter's products in India, Sri Lanka and Singapore.

Announcing this, Neoxfit Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar said Neoxfit will became the master licencee of Hoggan Health under the joint venture.

It will open its spa in Alwarpet, which will be Hoggan's first shop in the country. Neoxfit also proposed to appoint ten distributors in the country for selling the health products.

Launching the products, Hoggan Group Chief Development Chief Development Rayan Dean Hoggan said the group had conducted scientific as well as marketing research for the South East Asian Market and found commercial health club market in India growing by 15 per cent every year.

"The growth rate in India is faster than any other country in the world making India an attractive option for Hoggan Health. Fitness industry in India will be worth at least Rs 13,000 crore with 40 per cent of this dominated by imports and branded machines," he said.

Mr Hoggan said the company had been involved in developing quality products in the US since 1960s. The products unveiled here used the "iso kinetic process" by which resistance varied with movement.
